Looking good. Being strong. Performing at our best. These are popular and reasonable motivations we have with respect to our bodies. But flexibility is an often overlooked component that underlies all of these goals. That’s why NK Body Philosophy proudly provides flexibility training and coaching to help you build a foundation that supports all of your pursuits. 

Even a few minutes of stretching can work wonders. Loosening tight muscles helps to counteract the negative effects of other parts of the day, including sitting for long periods of time. Stretching improves postural problems that might otherwise cause a host of negative effects. Plus, it improves range of motion, which helps with balance.

Your Structure & Function Improved

Stretching allows muscles to develop in balance while reducing tightness, which is often a source of pain. All of this gives you the foundation to attain greater strength. 

When your body is stronger and more flexible it is also less prone to injury. These benefits allow you to have improved physical performance.

The tension reduction you’ll experience in your muscles also benefits your mind. With focused breathing exercises to accompany stretching, you can feel more peace and positivity.

Monthly Remote Training Program

Monthly Remote Training Program (Virtual & Subscription based):

Finally, a flexibility program that will work just for you! Just like our in-person sessions, we will discuss where you’re feeling tight and customize a program for your flexibility goals. After an in-person or virtual assessment I will create a monthly program for you that will progress, or regress based on your results. You will then access the app to retrieve your daily stretches and self-myofascial release tools. As a member, you also can check in with your flexibility coach. This is a great way to be accountable to incorporating a stretch routine into your life and have a coach that is routing you on along the way!

Table Stretch Service:

We do the stretching for you! Passive stretching (someone stretching you) has been known to show major benefits to the fascial system. You will receive a one-on-one stretch session while you are laying comfortably on the table.  This session may include (based on need) “PNF” Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, “CRAC” Contract-Relax-Antagonist-Contact, and active assisted stretching.

Flexibility Coaching One-on-One: (In-person)

This is your ultimate coaching service! You will start by meeting your coach who will conduct your flexibility assessment, get to know your challenges, and review your goals.  Based on your results your coach will then create a program for you to perform on your own at your leisure. You will spend the rest of the time reviewing the stretches and/or self-myofascial release tools that will be a part of your program.
